Real engagements. Real outcomes. A selection of the transformational work MIND+ has delivered across organisations in Nigeria and West Africa — in confidence and with measurable impact.
A leading industrial equipment company was experiencing significant operational inefficiencies, unclear accountability structures, and a stagnating revenue performance. MIND+ was engaged to conduct a full organisational diagnostic, redesign the performance management framework using the Compass Aligned Performance System (C@PS), and implement a structured change management programme.
Working closely with the executive team over a six-month period, MIND+ facilitated a comprehensive restructuring that redefined roles, aligned individual targets to corporate strategy, and established a culture of accountability. Management training was delivered across all levels, and a refreshed performance appraisal system was embedded into operations.
Outcome: The company achieved measurable improvements in staff productivity, leadership clarity, and financial performance within six months. The C@PS framework became the standard for ongoing performance management across all departments.
A mid-sized private educational institution was operating without a clear strategic direction, facing declining enrolment and staff morale challenges. The board engaged MIND+ to facilitate a full C@PS-anchored growth strategy process — bringing together the board, management, and key staff to define a compelling vision, set strategic priorities, and build a three-year operational roadmap.
MIND+ conducted stakeholder interviews, facilitated a two-day residential strategy retreat, and delivered a full strategic plan with departmental scorecards, KPIs, and an implementation calendar. Staff development workshops were also facilitated to build buy-in and alignment across the organisation.
Outcome: The institution launched its strategy with full board and staff alignment. Within the first year, enrolment grew by 18% and staff retention improved significantly as a result of the renewed clarity and purpose embedded through the process.
A fast-growing technology start-up backed by over $5M in funding was scaling rapidly but struggling with people management challenges — undefined roles, inconsistent performance expectations, and a founding team under pressure to professionalise ahead of Series A. MIND+ was brought in to conduct an HR diagnostic, redesign the people management structure, and prepare the board for strategic investor engagement.
Over a three-month engagement, MIND+ developed a competency framework, restructured the HR function, created job descriptions and KPIs for all roles, and facilitated a board strategy session to sharpen the company's value proposition and investor narrative. A leadership coaching programme was also delivered for the founding team.
Outcome: The company successfully closed its funding round, crediting the improved governance and people structure as a key factor in investor confidence. The HR framework continues to guide hiring and performance management as the company scales.
A family-owned real estate business faced a pivotal generational transition — the founding director was stepping back and the next generation of leadership was stepping in. Differences in management style, unresolved team dynamics, and an absence of formal governance structures threatened the business's continuity.
MIND+ was engaged to design and facilitate a structured transition process, including leadership coaching for both generations, family governance workshops, staff engagement sessions, and the design of a new organisational structure suited to the incoming leadership team's vision. A conflict resolution process was also facilitated to clear historical tensions before the handover.
Outcome: The transition was completed without loss of key staff or clients. The new leadership launched with a clear strategy, a modernised governance structure, and a united management team — positioning the business for its next phase of growth.
MIND+ was commissioned by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) through its training arm, ITCILO, to deliver a series of regional Training of Trainers (TOT) programmes for the Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) programme across West Africa. The engagement required MIND+ to certify business development trainers across 15+ countries, equipping them to deliver ILO-standard entrepreneurship training at scale in their own economies.
When the COVID-19 pandemic made in-person delivery impossible, MIND+ pioneered the first ever virtual SIYB TOT in the world — adapting the full programme to online delivery while maintaining ILO quality standards. This was recognised by ITCILO and the ILO as a landmark achievement in the global SIYB network.
Outcome: Over 500 entrepreneurs have since been reached by the trainers certified through this programme. The virtual TOT model pioneered by MIND+ was adopted as a reference framework by ITCILO for future virtual delivery globally. MIND+ received a commendation from ITCILO Activity Manager José Manuel Medina for high-level dedication, team spirit, and professionalism.
